Finally, Some Drama! Episode 10 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Season 2 begins with Sa-Hyun believing he and Song Won should go to a fortune teller to try and sort their relationship out. Song Won is not so sure and implores him to stop. She retorts back that seeing a teller could actually lead to bad luck. For now, she wants them to stay separate. Meanwhile, Pi-Young is still voiceless while Hye-Ryung is speechless after watching Dong-Mi getting handy with Yu-Shin....

My Dear Seo Ban Episode 4 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Season 3 starts with Seo-Ban finding out how Won died. He too pays his respect at the funeral, dropping to his knees and bowing deeply. He actually knew Won from before, too, given she was helping him. Ga-Bon and A-Mi show up as well, and they urge Won’s in-laws t let them help raise the baby. They’re obviously worried that Hye-Ryung is going to encroach and try to raise her....

Stalking = Romance? Episode 6 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) starts with Dong-Ma dropping his bombshell proposal for Pi-Young. She’s shocked that he’s serious about this and even more so when he claims they have a spark – something he actually felt back at the golf course. Anyway, he continues on but he can’t call it love right now, believing what they have is an indescribable feeling. Pi-Young encourages him to head on his trip to Germany, believing it’ll help refocus his mind and think clearly about what he’s saying....

Love in Contract Episode 10 Love in Contract bills itself as a fun and vibrant romantic K-drama. The protagonist here is Cho Sang-Eun, an attractive woman with talent and charm. She works as part of a helper service that provides wives to single people needing partners to take to gatherings specifically tailoring for married couples, like school reunions. Cho Sang-Eun is good at her job but she ends up getting involved with Jung Ji-Ho and Kang Hae-Jin, juggling her time between the two guys on different days of the week....

Drowning Episode 6 of Love Life is where things go from bad to worse for Darby and surprisingly from mediocre to great for HBO Max’s latest rom-com. I have to admit, early on the show felt a little rough around the edges and some of Darby’s motivations and decisions really didn’t suit the show at all. Thankfully, one of the perks with this job comes from the satisfaction of seeing a show come out the corner swinging, and boy does Love Life deliver during this episode....

Love Mechanics Episode 5 Love Mechanics is the latest weekend Thai BL drama, featuring plenty of drama and romance to boot. The story here centers on two characters, Vee and Mark. The official synopsis reads: “When a junior woos Vee’s friend, Vee, swearing to love only one in life, has to cut ties with Mark. But God plays a joke on them and something happened between Vee and Mark. Mark chooses to tuck away and draws an end to it....

Shinhwa Food Following the tragic news of Cha In-Ha earlier this week, Love With Flaws appears to be the Korean drama in the news right now for all the wrong reasons. This week’s episode of Love With Flaws begins to steer away from the ensuing stomach issues affecting Kang Woo and instead, begins building up the character drama between Kang and Seo-Yeon, leading to a stare-down at the end of the episode....

The Cursed Painting Episode 1 of Lovers of the Red Sky begins with a fantastical history lesson about a being called Ma Wang which caused chaos across the world before having its essence contained within a painting. Now, this Ma Wang helped the abdicated king Yeongjong to conquer the world. Afraid of Ma Wang’s increasing lust for bloodshed, Yeongjong passes the throne to his son, Sungjo. With Yeongjong off the throne, a ritual is held to try and stave off the demonic presence lurking inside him....

For Hazel, it’s the last straw in their relationship when Byron puts a chip in her brain that can track her and read her emotions. She goes home to seek help from her estranged father, Herb (Ray Romano), only to find herself caught between the trauma of her past and present. Jared shows up at Michaela’s, conflicted over whether to take the Registry job or not. However, he realizes he’s interfered on their anniversary and decides to leave. Zeke though, allows him to stick around. Jared even gives a speech too, pointing out that the better man won. As the attention turns back to Cal, all of them suddenly experience another Calling, jumping back to the airplane from before where they find themselves sitting, passed out in their seats....

The girl has apparently drowned but as to how this happened, we don’t really know for sure. Giulia suspects murder and she thinks she knows who the culprit is, but as the game’s story plays out, it becomes clear that she doesn’t have the tightest grip on reality. The game is set in 1944 Italy during World War 2. There are lots of references to the war, from newspaper clippings to radio broadcasts, but the horrors of the war rarely surface in any real way until later on in the game when soldiers invade Giulia’s Tuscany home....

Formulaic & Forgettable Arrogant, selfish and self-absorbed, Maska’s main character, Rumi Irani, is not an ideal protagonist. In fact, this is simply the icing on a poorly structured and formulaic cake that struggles to do anything particularly outstanding or unique. Between the simple story and a few over-acted lines, Maska is designed to be a feel-good movie but to be honest, you’re more likely to come away feeling indifferent. The story itself revolves around our aforementioned protagonist, Rumi Irani, who finds himself torn in life....

The Sixth Sense Episode 5 of Mine wastes absolutely no time this week, racing into the drama as Hi-Soo grabs Ja-Kyeong and tells her not to leave. Stepping into forbidden territory and one step closer to catastrophe (according to the narration anyway) the pair seal their fate. Ja-Kyeong will stay for the time being. After, Hi-Soo visits Seo-Hyun with her concerns. Apparently she actually head-hunted Ja-Kyeong herself but Hi-Soo is suspicious of the tutor and believes she’s keeping secrets....

Cat and Mouse Episode 3 of Money Heist: Korea switches things up and allows us to take a look at Moscow’s history. He’s picked up outside a correctional facility by the Professor. Moscow is all-in on the operation but on one condition – Denver joins them. Now, Moscow and Denver have been tight since their days on the run together in South Korea. He promises to make his father lots of money no matter what....

2nd December Your Christmas Or Mine? (2022) Young couple James (Asa Butterfield) and Hayley (Nora Kirk) are destined to be without one another over the Christmas period. But after waving goodbye at the train station, they individually decide they can’t be apart and so swap trains so they can be with their other half. This results in a disastrous mix-up where they are then forced to spend the festive period with their respective in-laws....

April 1st The Bubble (2022) Set in a hotel during the recent pandemic, this Judd Apatow-directed comedy features Karen Gillan, Pedro Pascal, Iris Apatow, and Kate McKinnon as the cast and crew of a struggling film shoot. A lot of films of late have used the pandemic as a background for their plotting but as this is a comedy, the film should be far lighter than the post-apocalyptic nonsense that has been streamed elsewhere....

The Wedding Picture After 12 episodes full of twists, romance and tense moments, My Holo Love concludes and gives us a very satisfying finale. While some of the plots were a little predictable, the drama remains consistent throughout with an interesting premise and good character development. We finally find out what happened to our two protagonists too, making us understand what made them the way they are now and giving us all the answers needed to end this one on a decent note....

My Liberation Notes Episode 12 My Liberation Notes is a family K-drama, following three siblings and a stranger as they seek to be freed from their complicated lives. Yeom Gi-Jeong (Lee El), the eldest, is very hot tempered. She spends a lot of her time travelling back and forth from Seoul to Sanpo village because of her job. She has a lot of issues in her life and is desperate to find love....

Time To Shine Episode 7 of Navillera begins with Chae-Rok trying frantically to find Deok-Chool. At the aquarium he meets back up with Hae-Nam and tells her to stay put. He charges off in search of Deok-Chool but he’s not on the cameras. He has, however, wandered into the backrooms and got lost. Thankfully a worker helps show him the way out, prompting Deok-Chool to walk casually back through the winding corridors to find Hae-Nam....

Five French Horrors, One Quirky Anthology Horrors are notoriously difficult to get right on a tight budget. From splatter-filled gore-fests to films that take themselves so seriously the end result winds up comedic, there’s a special art-form to getting an Indie horror right that few manage to achieve. Necrologies may not be the best Indie title out there, but it is one with a distinct charm and personality that helps it rise above mediocrity, one that interweaves five different tales together to form one cohesive anthology....
