Over the years, there have been some favourite K-drama couples that have taken over the hearts of fans so much so that fans ship the actors into being a real-life couples. Here are our picks for the eight best K-drama couples over the last 10 years.

Park Seo-joon and Park Min-Young (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim)

What’s not to like when a rich CEO falls in love with his personal assistant? The 2016 K-drama What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? gave fans a ship that has still not sailed in the form of the Park-Park couple, Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young. The two appeared on several variety shows, advertisements, and award shows following the release of the drama which had fans hoping for the couple to date each other in real life after the end of the drama. However, Park Min-young and Park Seo-joon do share a special bond with each other because they both have pet dogs of the same breed.

Ji Chang-wook and Park Min-young (Healer)

The king of romance in K-dramas, Ji Chang-wook is known for his exceptional chemistry with female leads and Park Min-young is no exception. After staring in the 2014 K-drama opposite each other, fans fell in love with the bad boy with good intentions played by Ji Chang-wook.  Park Min-young’s ever-so-innocent portrayal of Young-shin had fans emotional and the actress’ chemistry with Chang-wook’s character – ‘Healer’ had everyone rightfully swooning.

Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-ko  (Descendants Of The Sun)

Who does not want their favourite K-drama couple to date in real life and eventually get married? However, K-drama’s most loved Song-Song couple did fulfil the dreams of their fans for a while after they fell in love working on the 2016 K-drama, Descendants of the Sun.  Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-ko appeared in the classic K-drama and soon after the show ended, the couple started seeing each other and eventually tied the knot. Some fairytales do have a sad end because the couple did eventually break up leaving fans with a dreamy wedding and extremely high standards when it comes to a one-of-a-kind romance!

Nam Joo-hyuk and Lee Sung-kyung (Weight Lifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo)

Another reel to a real-life couple that sadly parted ways was Nam Joo-hyuk and Lee Sung-kyung, who starred together in the 2016 K-drama, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. The chaotic childhood best friends turned lovers duo is one of the most loved K-drama couples to date. The show is a fan favourite and hits you right in the feels because their romance is so lovable. All thanks to their impeccable chemistry on the show, fans still hope that Joo-hyuk and Sung-kyung will eventually find their way back to each other years after their unfortunate split due to overwhelming schedules.

Hyun-Bin and Son Ye-jin (Crash Landing On You)

Ask for a couple with a cinematic romantic journey and the BinJin couple is what we get. After starring in the 2020 emotional romantic K-drama, Crash Landing On You, Hyun and Son Ye-jin started seeing each other. Two years after the release of the drama we have a newly married couple and their newborn baby boy. How cute is that?  Hyun-Bin and Ye-Jin are literal couple goals because of how much they love and cherish each other as is evident from their wedding photos. Fans will hopefully get more projects starring the couple now, considering Crash Landing On You is considered one of the best romantic K-dramas that introduced many new fans to the genre.

Park Hyung-Sik and Park Bo-Young (Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon)

If the term ill-fated lovers could be personified by two K-drama actors, the other Park-Park couple on the list, Park Hyung-Sik and Park Bo-Young. After starring in the 2016 K-drama, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, fans fell in love with Hyung-Sik and Bo-Young together.  To rub salt in their sore wounds, it was then revealed that Hyung-Sik had fallen in love with Bo-Young. Later, Bo-young also revealed that she thought there was no other like Hyung-Sik but the couple never actually dated. There could be hope for the duo to star together in a project in the days to come as Bo-young recently gave a shout-out to Hyung-Sik.

Ahn Hyo-Seop and Kim Se-Jeong (A Business Proposal)

Despite being a 2022 K-drama, Ann Hyo-seop and Kim Seo-jeong had fans swooning and reeling after they starred in the 12-episode show, A Business Proposal, as Tae-Moo and Ha-Ri. This show has all the elements of a generic K-drama and the chaos is to die for. The drama ends far too soon for fans but gave us a lot of fun behind-the-scenes moments to look forward to. The couple was recently seen on a short four-part Indonesian commercial for the brand, RealFood as an ‘office couple’.

Lee Min-Ho and Park Shin-Hye (The Heirs)

The eternal rich boy of K-dramas, Lee Min-ho, is known for his popular K-drama appearances in recent years but Heirs (Inheritors) is one K-dramas after Boys Over Flowers that fans fall in love with Lee Min-Ho as a bad(ish) boy. Lee Min-Ho and Park Shin-Hye have been loved by fans after their enemies-to-friends-to-lovers relationship in the 2013 K-drama, The Heirs. It’s interesting that the two actors still are pretty close even after a whole decade. Recently, Lee Min-Ho shared the invitation to Shin-Hye’s wedding calling her “Eun-sang” while she addressed the card to “Young-tak”, their character names from The Heirs.
