What is Dream Home Makeover about?
The show is based on Shea and Syd McGee who help their client elevate their homes to fit their unique style. It also documents the couple’s lives in between the renovation projects. Viewers get to enjoy some clips from the McGee family life with their three kids along the way.
Has Dream Home Makeover been renewed for season 5?
Netflix is yet to confirm whether the show will be getting another season. Unfortunately, it might take a while to get confirmation. Generally, Netflix gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars) Other times, it can take months before Netflix decide a show’s future. The show has garnered many fans throughout the years and they are hoping to see what new exciting renovation projects the couple will take on. Hopefully we’ll get confirmation around a renewal sooner rather than later!
What we know about season 5 so far:
At the moment, we don’t know anything about season 5 but we expect the show to keep its episodic style if it is given the green-light. We are sure there are amazing renovation projects lined up for the couple and we would love to see the process and the final product. If the show is renewed for season 5, expect it to drop around the middle of 2023 or at the end of the year. Once we learn more, we’ll update this page!
