“Hey Guys, I’m One Of You!” So this is it. Purge night is finally upon us and our quartet of characters find themselves struggling to survive across the 42 minutes of blood-soaked action. As we fly through the hours, counting down to the end of the Purge, the stories begin to intertwine, ending with a juicy cliffhanger ready for next week’s finale. It’s not perfect, and especially for the Marcus storyline some of the motivations here are weak, but for the most part The Purge does well to keep things interesting, delivering a suitable pay-off after 8 weeks of build up....

A Flawed But Enjoyable Slice Of Bullet-Spewed Gore After 2013’s promising premise for The Purge devolved into a formulaic home invasion film, The Purge: Anarchy promised a renewed vision with more world building and 3 separate sets of characters converging together to try and survive the night in an action-packed sequel. While The Purge: Anarchy brings its own set of problems to the table, this follow-up is far more focused than its predecessor, delivering a flawed but enjoyable slice of bullet-spewed gore....

Audrina then tells her own feelings about the breaking-in. It happened on the night of the Oscars. The door is again left unlocked. She thought that someone would kill her and locked herself in the closet and started shaking when she found out. She describes it as “the most terrifying night of her life”. Audrina was out for revenge. She gave the surveillance video to the police. They also took family heirlooms and the robbery then became personal....

Hannah tries to call Owen but he is unavailable so she leaves a voicemail. Terence suggests they go to the Consulate and try to find information on Owen. He is worried that Owen had something to do with Xander’s death. In the meantime, Owen and Max are on the run on a bus. Owen confronts Max about the role she played in Xander’s death. She tells him that it is impossible that Krill got to Xander that fast....

Jellies The cold winter grips the school as we cut back in time and see more of Eun-Young as a child during episode 5 of The School Nurse Files. She’s forced to switch places as rumours spread that she can see ghosts. Of course, they’re not necessarily ghosts but these strange jellies instead. Sitting in class, she struggles to concentrate as jellies infest the ceiling and distract her from her studies....

The Man With The Golden Gun I can’t remember the last time I watched an anthology series with such wildly inconsistent quality. From the last couple of episode that rank among the worst I’ve seen this year through to the second episode, which ranks as the best of the series, The Twilight Zone is an unpredictable monster – and not in a good way either.
