Neither Do Men Live Nor Die In Vain Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m pretty forgiving with a lot of shows and don’t really go in too hard unless there’s a drastic change in quality or a show falls at the last hurdle, delivering something utterly unforgivable. The War Of The Worlds then is a show that makes it very hard for me to remain positive. From the perversion of the source material through to the lackadaisical pacing and strange stylistic choices that do little other than suck all life from the show, The War Of The Worlds is one of the worst adaptations I’ve sat through, ending with an utterly bizarre and tonally jarring finale that ends the entire project in the same ruinous disarray England is left in by the end of the episode....

A Trio Of New Faces Last year I decided not to cover This Is Us every week and instead, spent an entire day blitzing through season 3 a couple of days before the finale. The result was a really pleasant, satisfying watch but also one that felt fleeting; I’d returned to the Pearson family for a quick visit rather than really savouring the experience. After the poignant ending last season, I couldn’t do the same again this year as This Is Us returns with a renewed vision, introducing new characters and delivering another surprising twist at the end, reminscent of the same one way back in the first episode....

Once More With Feeling Toy Story 4 is an unnecessary but highly enjoyable sequel. While better than the first film, Toy Story 4 fails to ascend to the lofty heights achieved by Toy Story 2 and 3. It’s certainly a lot of fun, backed up by some gorgeous animation and the story itself is perfectly paced throughout its 90 minute run time. Unfortunately, some of the fan favourites are reduced to one-liners and the new characters just don’t have the same charisma as the old ones to back this decision up....
The Visit Episode 4 of Trolley starts with Soo-bin overhearing Joong-do and Hye-joo talking. She heads outside, takes one look back at the book repair shop and walks away.
