Chasing Shadows This week we return to American Gods for another intriguing episode as the various groups of Gods regroup after the shoot-out at the diner. The story begins with Mr. Wednesday vowing revenge on the New Gods and organising a wake in the parking lot of the diner. From here, Nancy and Wednesday head off for a separate mission, preparing for the Great War that lies before them while Laura and Mad Sweeney head off and chase after Shadow....

A Highly Enjoyable, Swashbuckling Adventure Switching out the traditional Assassin’s gear for a pirate hat and cutlass, Black Flag marks a significant step forward for the Assassin’s Creed series, one that brings a much more expansive map to explore and plenty of naval adventuring. With such big steps forward, Black Flag’s narrative suffers as a result. While it’s good enough to drive you forward, and Edward is certainly one of the better Assassins of the series, it ultimately plays second fiddle to the gameplay....

The remake of Beauty & The Beast could have been a disaster. After all, the high regard people have for the original tale and its characters make for a tough crowd to please but for the most part Director Bill Condon manages to distil any animosity by producing a film that stays almost to the same beat and script as the original. This “tale as old as time” is identical to the animation but in case you haven’t watched it, we follow the story of Belle, a big fish in a small pond who longs for a life away from her simple routine life in her village....
