Episode One Episode 1 of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story opens with the infamous serial killer Jeffery Dahmer’s neighbor glued to the television. She finds out that five Caucasian cops beat an African American officer who was on an undercover mission. She sympathizes with the situation and appears to be genuinely upset by the current events and racial prejudice. The episode quickly shifts to what’s happening in Dahmer’s apartment after she hears some sort of drilling noise from there....

Sadaharu adds fuel to the fire of an already jealous Jiro by telling him that Minami had declared that he would never switch his partner. Sachi also tells this to Akari and the latter starts thinking about what the future holds for her. Sadaharu mentions that at this rate, Minami and Shiori could be getting married to each other. Jiro takes the liberty to imagine a mortal combat situation between himself and Minami where he ends up getting both Akari and Shiori while Jiro is left empty-handed....

One criminal that every Indian millennial kid heard stories about is Dawood Ibrahim, India’s most wanted gangster. The man allegedly moved to Dubai in order to run his ‘business’ after Mumbai police issued an arrest warrant against him but there is a lot more than meets the eye for this criminal....

A serviceable WW2 thriller with a few good moments War… war never changes. And when it comes to the big screen, there are no changes to the current formula of depicting World War II through every lens imaginable. From the epic and gritty Saving Private Ryan to the intimate Downfall, all the way over to the harrowing Schindler’s List, World War II is the one war audiences never seem to grow tired of seeing....

The 100,000th Grudge After 12 fun and original episodes, Mystic Pop-up Bar comes to an end with a great last chapter, full of twists, emotions and tension as expected. It concludes with a very happy ending which ties every storyline together with another important message about fate and the importance of our actions. The season finale of Mystic Pop-Up Bar begins with Kang-Bae in an abandoned building, crying as he looks at a broken bottle of the magical drink on the floor....

Enemy Episode 1 of Navarasa begins with a slick split-screen shot as jovial music is undercut by two different scenes. The top depicts a kind woman called Savithri telling a story. The bottom, shows a vengeful man named Dheena arriving at her house and knocking on the door. Silently, he heads straight into the bedroom and closes the door. When he appears, Savithri’s eyes wander to the horrifical scene left behind in this room....

NCIS Season 20 Episode 7 NCIS revolves around a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which conducts criminal investigations involving the US Navy and Marine Corps. Having run successfully for 19 seasons, expect season 20 to really hit the ground running. With Agent Parker framed for murder, he’s gone into hiding, with his team promising to try and clear his name. However, the FBI are after him and it seems like Parker’s ex-wife may have her own nefarious scheme....

Despite an intriguing premise and some very good acting all round, The Chalet wastes far too much time building its side characters rather than moving the plot forward in a meaningful way. The second half of the show certainly improves on this though as the characters start getting picked off one by one and the killer (or killers) eventually revealed late on, but there’s a fair amount of patience needed to reap the benefits that this latter portion of The Chalet offers....

After years of hype and a mixed reaction from the Playstation community, love it or hate it there’s no denying that No Man’s Sky is a beautiful, ambitious open world game. The sheer scope of the universe is mind boggling and the ability to fly from one planet to the next and from one star system to the next is incredibly awe-inspiring. Even after my 50 hours+ playtime, I found new things that surprised me but there’s no denying that No Man’s Sky has some glaring issues....

In a flashback that goes about 2 years before the present day, we see a performance of the orchestra group in the church. All of our chief players are present there. Max’s wife plays the cello, and we see Victoire with him too in attendance. It is revealed that Ben already has a wife while having an affair with Alice. From there on in, we switch to the funeral but the key thing to notice here is that Alice came under Zacharie’s radar in both places....

There is no doubt that filmmakers should experiment with genres in whichever way it suits their story. Quite certainly, if you have a disaster of immense magnitude unfolding in a city, the focus can shift to the people. The actual drama inside the central conceit will take a backseat. This should ideally allow a thorough, serious-minded effort to carve the changing realities for some residents of the city. Notre Dame, however, never manages to impress with its digression....

She’s smart, beautiful and sensitive to trends. Her counterpart is Yoon Jae-Kook, who’s a popular freelance fashion photographer. He’s handsome, intelligent and wealthy. Will the pair end up together? Or is there heartache and drama in the future for them?...

One-Way to Mediocrity One-Way to Tomorrow is a Turkish rom-com that absolutely nails its characters but misses the mark with some stifled directorial choices. The story is actually pretty good though and there’s a nice twist halfway through that will almost certainly catch you off guard. From this point onward, the pace quickens and there’s a much better rapport with our two lead characters but it does take a while to reach this point....

Second Chance Clinic Episode 2 of Open Your Eyes Season 1 begins with brief flashes to the past. Julia is taken out of a building on a stretcher by a man named Janek. She’s wrapped in a protective layer, seemingly reinforcing that she’s been burned. As she’s injected with something in the neck, Julia wakes up breathing heavily. Heading in to see Magda, the woman happens to be hooked up to a complicated machine across her head, keeping her docile....

The same can’t be said for Maddie and her mother, Ellen....
