The story wastes no time getting right to the heart of the action. While investigating her father Petrus’s death, Police Officer Dina discovers his true identity as the head and honorary father of a gang of assassins. After locating the four thugs her father trained; Alpha, Jenggo, Pelor, and their leader, Topan, Dina and the Big 4 become targeted by a psychopath called Antonio....

Payback Episode 1 of The Boys Season 3 starts with Vought spinning their PR games once more. This time with Homelander acting out the final fight with Stormfront, only with a generic comic book tinge of good VS evil. Homelander, of course, portrayed as the hero in all this. The Seven join him, they beat the bad guy (or gal in this instance) and all is well. Only…its not. As we cut across to the movie premiere, there’s some serious unhinged anger behind Homelander’s pearly white smile....

Banging at the door opens the chapter, as Billy Butcher shows up at O.D.’s place, asking him where the children’s blood is. He’s a fixer for many of The Seven, including Homelander and A-Train. Butcher intends to use him to get back at The Seven....

The Obscured Devil Below Horror films live and die on two main ingredients – tension and fear of the unknown. Some of the best horrors over the years have managed to fine-tune this balance perfectly, with Alien, The Thing and The Descent as three shining examples. These movies not only hide their hand for long stretches of their run-time, they also know exactly when to pull the trigger and show their big bad in all its grotesque, gnarly glory....

A Bloated & Formulaic Story The rise and fall of drug smugglers has long been a staple of the crime thriller genre. From Narcos and El Chapo through to Layer Cake and Breaking Bad, The Drug King follows in their footsteps with a similar slice of drug-fueled action. At a run time of over 2 hours and a slow-paced plot that never quite delivers as well as it should, The Drug King feels like a missed opportunity, especially given the decent acting on display from an inspired Kang-ho Song at the helm of this one....

Cat And Mouse When it comes to the crime drama genre, there’s a whole wealth of content out there. From detective noirs and murder mysteries, through to thrillers and whodunnits, it’s very difficult for a show to break into this territory and stand out. The Game: Towards Zero then is a show that seems to be growing from strength to strength. Taking advantage of Tae-Pyeong’s special powers and weaving that around a smartly written episode that uses flashbacks to intentionally confuse and heighten tension in equal measure, The Game: Towards Zero may just turn out to be one of the bigger surprises this year....

A few good kicks can’t rise this above mediocrity The Last Mercenary is a loud, cheesy action flick with an equal dose of eye-rolling and genuine chuckles. The film itself is essentially a throwback to a bygone era, and for some they’ll absolutely love this.
