Cheer Up! Episode 16 Cheer Up is another sport drama that has a great blend of romance, drama and thrills. The story centers on Do Hae-Yi, a student at Yonhee University. She’s bright and diligent but because of her family’s dire financial situation, she’s forced to place her priority into making money rather than her education. However, everything changes when Hae-Yi joins the cheering squad, Theia. She only joins for money but soon finds herself becoming engrossed in the tight-knit group dynamic....

Sand & Boron Chernobyl returns this week with the aftermath of last week’s explosion still a very real and present danger. 7 hours after the explosion, irradiated victims pile into the hospitals while a commission is called with Professor Legasov to discuss the situation. Angered by the apathy shown by the other members, Legasov pleads with the commission to evacuate the area. After trying to explain nuclear energy to the other members, they eventually agree to fly a helicopter over to Chernobyl with Legasov and another member of the board, determined to get to the bottom of the misinformation being spread....

Episode Guide Selection Training Survival Finishing School Final Scheme When it comes to reality TV, it’s always a bit hit or miss what sort of show you’re going to get. Churchill’s Secret Society is an interesting one in that respect, blending together educational history with a reality competition format, designed to showcase some of the tough conditions and training the SOE had to endure. For the most part it works really well although some early forced drama between the recruits does take some of the shine off this one....

An Inspirational and Reflective Documentary The first scene opens with a touch of humour the band have never lost over the years. “All I ask is you don’t open the documentary with a shot of the band walking,” Chris pleads as the film opens… with a shot of Coldplay walking out at their first gig. From here, the film explores the early formation of the band, breaking up each segment with key moments for the group, predominantly centred around each hit record and passing album....

She finds him stoned and kisses him. Apologizing for it, she then goes back to the party. Melissa gives her a look–not judgmental, but perhaps knowing. Frances leaves early, without Bobbi. That weekend, Frances visits her mom. She mentions Melissa and Nick and gets somewhat defensive when her mom thinks she’s been carried away by their posh lifestyle. She then goes to see her dad, Dennis. They awkwardly make conversation, and she does his dishes....

Frances stands close to Bobbi to stare at Nick. She plays with Bobbi’s hair, but Bobbi slaps her hand away. “Don’t fucking use me, Frances.” Frances walks out of the party and goes home. Bobbi takes a woman named Emer home that night, while Frances thinks about downloading Tinder. Frances messages Bobbi an apology for her behavior. Meanwhile, she matches with someone on Tinder and goes on a date, but she’s not really into it....

A lot hangs in the balance for many of our characters on both sides of the border and with just two episodes to go, the drama promises to give us more explosive and emotional scenes....

Bring Us In Good Ale Arthur & Gawain Episode 7 of Cursed begins with The Weeping Monk fighting Arthur one on one. It’s a well-choreographed fight too and as they trade blows, the Red Paladin arrive at a nearby mill and charge up with reckless abandon. Thankfully, Gawain saves him at the last second and together they rush up to the mill. Outnumbered and surrounded, Arthur and Gawain try to come up with a plan....

Back With A Bang When it comes to stand out episodes, Designated Survivor: 60 Days certainly delivers the goods here. From start to finish, the entire episode is wrapped in a thick layer of tension, with big plot reveals, twists and turns in the tale throughout the 70 minute run time. If there’s one episode so far that matches the intensity of the first, it’s this one. We begin with an adrenaline-soaked opening flashback – Park is warned to evacuate as a bomb blast may be imminent in the area....

Foundation bungled its execution, Invasion has been outright boring and the less said about Another Life Season 2 the better....

Whose Fault Is It? Episode 4 of Dom Season 1 begins in Copacabana 1995. Laura is with her Mother, Marisa, and notices Pedro snorting cocaine in his room. She keeps it a secret from their Mother though but does make a point of calling Pedro out for his foolishness in the street. He even promises not to take coke again. This is, of course, a completely broken promise. Instead, Lico and Pedro end in the favela together....

Despite a constant creepy atmosphere that elevates this film, ‘Don’t Knock Twice’ ultimately fails to deliver with awful dialogue, a unneccesarily confusing and vague story which ultimately ends on a cliffhanger that sours the entire experience. The story follows the turbulent relationship of Mother Jess (Katee Sackhoff) and teenage daughter Chloe (Lucy Boynton) as Chloe unwittingly summons a demon by knocking twice on a door of a supposed witch. The one plus here is that the film doesn’t mess around with slowly building up the tension, it jumps straight into the creepy atmosphere and within fifteen minutes, the first big horror set piece sets the tone for the rest of the film....

Alternate Timeline Episode 12 of Doom at Your Service begins with Myul-Mang chasing down a cat killer who’s about to burn a building. He holds the man down and prepares to torture him, dousing the foe in gasoline and looking set to light a cigarette. This is very much doom-bringer territory as the gravity of Dong-Kyung’s choice is felt. She’s chosen to live anew and forget Myul-Mang after all. Son0Yeoshin seems to be doing better now too, as Myul-Mang shows up and likens himself to a butterfly in her garden....

Remember Me Episode 13 of Doom at Your Service begins with Dong-Kyung and Myul-Mang about to talk and air out what they know. At the same time, Joo-Ik and Hyun-Kyu sit on opposite benches (one wearing black and the other wearing white to signify opposites) where Joo-Ik’s kiss is finally revealed. As Joo-Ik lets go of what he’s been holding, it’s all too much for his friend who decides to go to a café and stay away from Joo-Ik for the time being....

Naked Episode 3 of Elite season 6 starts with Isa showing off her incriminating audio footage Didac has captured to her lawyers. Unfortunately, it’s not good news. Given it was captured illegally, the confession can’t be used in court. They’re going to have to find another way to get the kids to ‘fess up. Isa is not happy and storms off. Didac follows Isa and decides to try and help her, determined to prove that he has her best interests at heart and wants to try and do right....

Masks Episode 7 of Elite season 6 starts with Ari showing up at the hospital after burning the car. She finds Patrick, with his head in his hands, blood staining his sleeves. He knows this is bad and is concerned he’s never going to see Ivan again. In the current timeline, the gang show up at Isa’s club where a big masquerade party is going ahead. When Patrick shows up, Mencia tells him how’s making a mistake being there, given Ivan is hurting and needs space....

So-Ra’s Wrath Episode 8 of Eve starts with the police showing up to find So-Ra after the hit and run out in the street. She’s in big trouble, and when Yoon-Kyum finds out he’s shocked too. In fact, he immediately sets to work blocking this story and doing everything he can to bury this. However, the news have already got hold of this. “Ra-El, I underestimated you.” Moon-hee says to herself....
