The Final Case Episode 16 of Law School begins this finale with Assemblyman Ko in the police station. He’s been arrested and is awaiting trial. We then jump back several days prior with the group all working together to incriminate Ko. This comes from using Ko’s enemies he’s gained over time – and the integrity of Judge Kang too. As we all know, this includes dressing Sol-A up as Kang Dan which catches us up to last week’s reveal....

Juxtaposing Worlds Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere has the potential to be one of the best familial dramas of the year. Having not read the book it’s difficult to judge how closely to the source material this goes but based on the first episode alone, the juxtaposing world views, the different layered elements of race, sexism and class along with a deliciously dark “whodunit” combine to make for a really intriguing set up....

Another day, another chance; episode 2 of Little Voice begins with Bess walking the dogs and returning to Miss Grant’s house. Given she isn’t in, Bess takes the opportunity to play her piano. This comes to an abrupt end though and Bess hops over to visiting Louie. Thankfully Louie’s words of wisdom are enough for her to head back to the bar and continue working just as before....

Mason’s Rats Episode 7 of Love, Death & Robots Season 3 starts with another uprising, this time on Mason’s farm as rats all start to turn against humans. Apparently Traptech are the solution to this, as a sleazy businessman shows up and suggests Mason invest in high-tech weaponry to destroy the rats. Apparently, changes in the environment are seeing rats and other animals turn against humanity as a result. The rata are cleverer than Mason suspected though and after thwarting the initial threat, the farmer brings in the big guns....
Motherly Love Episode 11 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) begins with Yu-Shin at the bar with A-Mi, talking about the happiest moments of their life. A-Mi’s happen to be when she got into UCLA. This surprises Yu-Shin, especially as he sees her as a happy-go-lucky girl. The conversation then turns to horse riding. This, of course, is deliberate given A-Mi’s dream about riding horses on the beach together. After, they discuss first loves, where Yu-Shin admits that his was his Mother… not his biological mother though, as if that makes it any better!...

She’s determined to figure out the truth and see if her husband is having an affair. Luckily for Yu-Shin, A-Mi is called away by her Director at the last minute, just as Pi-Young shows up. When Pi-Young appears, Yu-Shin is obviously rattled but he maintains his composure....
Love in Contract Episode 16 Love in Contract bills itself as a fun and vibrant romantic K-drama. The protagonist here is Cho Sang-Eun, an attractive woman with talent and charm. She works as part of a helper service that provides wives to single people needing partners to take to gatherings specifically tailoring for married couples, like school reunions. Cho Sang-Eun is good at her job but she ends up getting involved with Jung Ji-Ho and Kang Hae-Jin, juggling her time between the two guys on different days of the week....
The Red Thread of Fate Episode 4 of Lovers of the Red Sky begins with Ha Ram standing before Cheon-Ki. Now that he knows her name, Ha Ram reminisces on moments from his childhood before being helped back inside to wait for the physician to show. Grand Prince Yangmyung arrives, determined to find out where Ha Ram is. For now, Cheon-Ki decides to play dumb. In fact, Cheon-Ki doesn’t believe that he’s a prince and asks the man to leave… until Ha Ram steps out the house....
On the surface, they seem to have it all and lead ideal lives. This is especially true after their son recovers from a severe, prolonged illness. But when Leonora spots her partner at a party with his co-worker Xenia, some skeletons in the closet are brought to light. Loving Adults, which is directed by Barbara Rothenborg, paints a very unsettling image of an unhappy marriage. It resembles “Gone Girl” in appearance, but it is nastier....
Hell Hath No Fury Like Cornelius’ Rage Having a single episode drip-fed across each day of the week is something I wish more shows embraced. No sooner had we finished digesting that iconic bus scene on Monday, we’re on to the next episode to stew over deepened investigative work. This of course leads us into tonight’s penultimate episode of the season where the battle lines are drawn and both main stories gain some serious traction....
Snaps Does Alex acknowledge that she’s a victim? Episode 10 of Maid starts this finale with Alex watching as her mother wakes up in Walmart parking lot, ready to get working. Alex does the same, heading to her group therapy session and opening up about how writing has helped articulate how she feels. Alex manages to connect really well with the girls, telling the other abuse victims to focus on writing like she did....
Disco Inferno Manifest is one of those shows that sleepwalks its way through episodes and then all of a sudden jolts into life. Admittedly, the show has felt like it’s spinning wheels this year, with too many moving parts and inevitably leaving bits of the plot to buckle under the weight of impatience and unanswered questions. While the soap opera drama is still here, this week’s episode does a great job anchoring the plot to one cohesive vision as the nightclub fire produces some really exciting and dramatic segments....
Despite its feel-good drama and ethnic acceptance that dominate large portions of this film, there’s no denying that its a little too formulaic to stand out over other sport titles. Inspired by the 1987 true story, McFarland tells the story of a group of novice runners trained by head coach Jim White (Kevin Costner) to learn discipline on and off the running track and compete at a top level. For the most part it feels content on just being a good film, shot well and the clash of American and Mexican cultures is interesting without feeling offensive or racist....
Mental Coach Jegal Episode 16 Mental Coach Jegal is a sport drama about a former national athlete who becomes a mental coach to help former professional athletes who have retired or fallen into a slump. Je Gal-Gil is our protagonist, a former national Taekwondo athlete who is known for his hard work and charms. After being permanently expelled and coined the unlucky prodigy, Gal-Gil overcomes his trauma and returns to the village as a mental coach....
Memory Day The latest chapter of Missing: The Other Side brings a lot of emotions to the table for our characters as the mystery slowly unfolds and each tries to deal with their past and current situation. We are half way through this drama now and it has been quite the thrilling and interesting series so far and definitely worth watching. Episode 6 of Missing: The Other Side starts with Wook having drinks with Thomas in the cafe....
