With a list of strict instructions, things go awry when she tries to inject humour into proceedings before jumping on stage. This slick, beautiful one-shot scene leads to Midge getting ready while Susie phones through to Fred to try and arrange a touring gig for her....

Margot looks at her husband, a concerned look plastered on her face. “We need to tell them the truth.” She says. We then cut back 13 years ago. Allie shows up for work at UBU, but he’s nervous and reading from his notes, with his assistant Pavani by his side....

The Real Killer We begin episode 14 of The Penthouse with Logan packaging Seol-A’s old shoe and preparing for his final step. With cameras set up all round Hera Palace, the infamous note is there for all to see as confetti falls to the ground during the lighting ceremony. The residents all gather together and notice Seol-A’s shoe on the mannequin, prompting Su-Ryeon to stagger back in shock. Logan was the one who planted this but he plays his role well, telling him he’s disappointed in Joo....

The Truth Is Finally Revealed We begin episode 19 of The Penthouse with Su-Ryeon telling the adults exactly what their kids have been doing, including nonchalantly brushing aside the fire that nearly killed Seol-A. As the kids begin weeping, Logan tells them over the loudspeaker to write down exactly what they did to Seol-A. While they do, Su-Ryeon forces the Hera Palace residents to turn on themselves. They begin fighting as Su-Ryeon gives them an ultimatum; if they can admit the truth then the parent and child to do so will go free from this death-trap....

If you are looking for nothing more than seeing popcorn entertainment and violence, ‘The Princess’ is a decent pick. Like the mazy construct of the tower, there are some confusing plot points. How did the princess end up where she did? What is the history between Julius and the King? Why does he barge in with his army to take over the kingdom by a coup? The screenwriters have also chosen not to provide names to their characters to maintain the semblance of universality....
