The Swarm Hi Bye, Mama returns this week with a slightly slower episode with more flashback but still manages to deliver some touching scenes as Yu-Ri slowly gets used to her humanity and start to reveal herself to the people around her. Æsahættr The season 2 finale of His Dark Materials begins with Serafina, Will and Lyra continuing their ascent. While they do, creatures called cliff-ghasts stir in the shadows, talking of Lord Asriel’s army growing and how he needs Æsahættr. They offer to bring her inside but Ms Kim refuses and decides to walk away. Just as everyone is about to go in, Chae-Woon changes her mind and follows her birth mother. She holds an umbrella for her and apologises for how she acted while they wait for a taxi....

Duck, Duck, Goose Episode 2 of Hunters moves into a much more surreal, light-hearted tone, which is certainly an odd choice as the group start hunting their first Nazi – Karl Holstedder. After an opening segment involving the Jews in the concentration camps defying rules and playing music, we cut back to Jonah who deciphers a written message and realizes it’s in relation to one of the Nazi’s, Karl Holstedder. After being introduced to the gang, courtesy of a surreal montage segment, Jonah gets to work with the others....

This actually stems all the way back to our train ride, where Kyung-Yi came up with her masterplan. Now the end-goal here was to show Director Yong that she’ll do anything to get ahead. With K desperate for blood, Kyung-Yi used the public attention on Hyeong-Tae to shield him from K’s murderous intent....

Cash On Delivery Episode 7 of Inventing Anna begins with Paul grilling Vivian and asking her to crack on and get the article to him asap. With the baby due in two weeks and the first draft not even written, Vivian is still torn over the Rachel debacle. So why is she not talking to Vivian? Well, it turns out she’s actually sold her story to Vanity Fair already. When Vivian does some research, she realizes the article was actually written by Rachel herself....

The Shawl It’s Okay To Not Be Okay returns this week with another meaningful episode showing how to let go of past burdens and moving on from the pain. Episode 7 of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay starts where it left off with Kang-Tae finding Moon-Young sobbing in her bed. He quickly comforts her though and and tells her he won’t leave. He then stays by her side all night and ends up falling asleep next to her....

Then there’s the main premise of the plot: the class nerd helps the coolest guy in school romance the new girl by pretending to be him. Sound familiar? It’s another take on Cyrano De Bergerac and the various movies that have been inspired by it, including the Steve Martin/Daryl Hannah classic Roxanne. Do we really need another version of this oft-told tale? Well, the answer is probably “no” but this movie isn’t that bad....

Demon Seo Episode 1 of Jirisan begins at the Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Museum where a slideshow of images and videos from Mount Jiri play while an unidentified man narrates the mountain’s long history as the border between life and death. We jump to the Jirisan National Park Haedong Ranger Station in the year 2018 where rookie ranger, Kang Hyun-jo, arrives to find the place abuzz with the beginning of a search and rescue mission....

Ominous Signs Episode 3 of Jirisan drops us back into the cliffhanger that episode 2 left us with. After finding the yellow ribbons, Yi-gang hears Dae-jin approaching and drops the bunch of files the ribbons were hidden under in her panic. She’s able to right everything before he arrives and he goes to his desk none the wiser, putting down a pair of eerily familiar black gloves. On the mountain, the bushes rustle around Da-won as the blood-soaked person appears....

Ghosts from the Past Episode 9 of Juvenile Justice begins with Eun-Seok waking up in hospital. She’s suffering from burnout syndrome, which is essentially being malnourished and exhausted. With no emergency contacts or next of kin to note, Tae-Ju shows up and plays the role instead. Eun-Seok discharges herself and heads home. Tae-Ju follows and notices her apartment is void of items. Save for books wrapped up and empty bottles of water, she has very little....

Grima Episode 6 of Katla begins with Rakel regretting her choice and heading back to pick up her son. Only, Mikael is picked up by a couple, including a woman called Stefania. They phone the hotel and try to get through to Darri. Eventually they agree to meet down by the riverbank, prompting Rakel and Darri to team up and hurry there. While they’re en-route, Mikael talks about being trapped in the shed and his ordeal....

Showdown For a while now, Killing Eve has been teasing Villanelle and Eve crossing paths again and this week’s episode sees this finally come to fruition. A tense confrontation between the two ultimately serves as the best moment of the season but before we can get there, Villanelle begins the episode by antagonizing and eventually killing a man at a car wash. Meanwhile, Ghost is interviewed by Eve who asks her about Villanelle....
