Clocking in at 80 minutes or so, this Norwegian horror does its best but ultimately falls way short of that high bar, delivering a formulaic, pedestrian movie lacking much in the way of originality or intriguing elements....

Another Incredible Pixar Film Pixar’s reputation for producing incredible animated films continues with their latest effort, Coco. Inside Out was arguably Pixar’s most ambitious title, balancing a fun animated flick with mature themes around embracing sadness. Coco continues this boundary defying formula somewhat, tackling themes around death, the afterlife and the importance of music. Coco is a beautifully written, visually stunning film and although it may not be the best film this studio has produced, it’s still an incredible effort, solidifying Pixar’s position as the King of animated film....
Sad Clown A-Go-Go Episode 8 of Cowboy Bebop begins with gunshots. Vicious shows up with his guards to the prison, releasing a Red Eye junkie by the name of Pierrot LeFou. He’s lusting for blood but Vicious proves his worth, killing the guard. He tasks Mad Pierrot with killing Spike in exchange for giving him as much Red Eye as possible. Meanwhile, it’s family time for the Bebop crew. Spike, Faye and Jet are out bowling, with Spike hitting a strike and Faye knocking the ball down the gutter....

The central character here is Dr. Prakam, a well-known surgeon dedicated to saving people’s lives. However, while doing his job he’s frequented by Death, who shows up to try and take the souls of the people this doctor is trying to save. While Death tries to collect these poor souls, Dr Prakam works to save those lives before they fall into Death’s grip....
Pilot Debris feels like a mash-up of The X-Files, Manifest, Fringe and The Tunnel. The result is a show that could be a big sci-fi hit if it can nail its writing and mystery box elements. It’s far too early to tell yet but so far, Debris gets off to a promising start. Episode 1 of Debris wastes absolutely no time throwing us right into the muck of it. Three years before this show takes place a wrecked alien spacecraft ended up moving through our solar system....
An Impressive Hack’n’Slash I’ve never been a big Devil May Cry fan. While I’ve always enjoyed the hack’n’slash gameplay and the design of these games have always appealed to me, I’ve never really become that invested in the franchise’s story or characters. It’s worth pointing this out because Devil May Cry is an incredibly fun and engaging game, boasting a smooth fluidity to its combat and nailing almost every element of its design to perfection....
Determinism The season finale of Devs does a pretty good job wrapping up most of its plot points, even if it does leave some interpretation over its ending and an underwhelming finish for some of its supporting characters. Ultimately, the show has acted as a platform for bigger questions surrounding fate, the afterlife and determinism. In that respect, the show has done a good job showing this in its current form, even if it has taken its time to get there....
