With some well shot action and a fast-paced story, this Chinese picture combines fantasy, romance and sci-fi nicely. The story here plays out like a combination of Inception, Nightmare On Elm Street and The Matrix. At the heart of this lies our struggling screenwriter protagonist, Sang Yu. He’s up to his eyeballs in debt, exhausted and desperately trying to stay awake....

With a strong soundtrack, great visuals and an impressive amount of micromanagement options, Surviving Mars is a fun and rewarding strategy game. The opening few hours are a little slow as you get to grips with the questionable control scheme and mechanics of the game but after some initial trial and error obtaining and sustaining key resources and saving your colony from disaster becomes a little easier....

On the back of this, she takes him home and starts nursing the nasty knife wounds across his body. Primal Instincts Episode 12 of Taxi Driver picks up with us seeing more of the skirmish between Mr Wang and the Goo twins. He’s blindsided after trying to save Woo-Sub, stabbed in the stomach and left for dead in the warehouse. Fast forward slightly and Goo Young-Tae is arrested for the murder of Mr Wang. He laughs all the way to the prosecutor’s office, especially as they’re technically unable to arrest him without sufficient evidence....

Betty Episode 7 of Tehran Season 2 starts with Faraz leaving after shooting Ali. Haunted by the memories of what he’s done, Faraz struggles to hold it together as he screams into the mirror. When the authorities show, they mention how Ali has been killed, but Faraz tries to feign ignorance. The scene has been set up by Faraz himself to make it look like Ali commit suicide but there are holes in his story....

Now You See Me Episode 7 of Tell Me Your Secrets begins with Pete talking to Emma, questioning her over the necklace and whether she has any involvement with Theresa. He believes that whatever happened that night is what’s triggered her amnesia. With the FBI closing in, Pete asks her to take a look at the crime scene phots in the hope that it’ll trigger something. It’s no good though, although she does flashback to her time in the forest while cutting a client’s hair....

Millions of volunteers to a boring from across the world. The rains have taken a breather too, with only sparring showers now hitting the city. The Americans too sent in special forces to help. Now the question remains, how will they be brought out? The parents are more confident now that their sons will be rescued and hence, go back home for a breather. A hydraulics engineer, Kelly, shows up at the camp, saying they need to delay the water going in....

The Thai SEALs and American forces have come up with a plan to insert a flexible tube inside the cave and teach the boys to scuba. They would set oxygen tanks in each of the chambers to make sure there’s enough juice for them to go in and back out. John and Rick think it won’t work. The boys won’t be able to learn scuba in this short period and the conditions underwater are some of the worst they have ever seen....

The Baby Episode 3 The Baby is a mysterious, darkly comedic horror that blends a central mystery with an enticing group of characters. The show is essentially an allegory for the fears of motherhood, but wrapped up with a good number of twists and turns. This one certainly isn’t for the squeamish but if you’re taken with the mystery, this is turning into quite the intriguing rollercoaster ride. Chapter 11 Episode 11 of Thee Devil Punisher begins with Chung and Hsiao-Chi taking care of the rampaging cinema-goers. Hsiao-Chi cleverly uses humans to clean up the mess and Chung surmises perhaps he needs a human assistant. Hsin-Yu complains to her flower about En-Hsi, Chung and not having anyone with whom to talk. She’s suddenly swept from where she stands to Chung’s living room for a reunion. Chung is pleased that Hsin-Yu isn’t angry and missed him....
