A Fish Tale Inspired by the same animation techniques seen in the Telltale Games, Fish Night is an interesting hedonistic trip into a dream world. While the story itself doesn’t do an awful lot, it’s ultimately the colours and aesthetic that make this a compelling watch. The plot begins with two salesmen stranded down a dusty, desert road in the middle of nowhere. With their car broken down and help miles away, the two men make the decision to wait it out until dawn before walking back to the nearest service station....

Rain wonders how Payu got his number and recalls writing it down on the customer slip while signing the car out of the garage. He calls Payu unprofessional whereas the biker asks Rain to pay back the repair cost....
Sundown Visually impressive and tightly written, Lovecraft Country storms into 2020 with one of the best pilot episodes of the year. From the beautiful juxtaposing imagery depicting racial segregation to the beautiful tonal shifts from drama to horror, HBO’s latest drama gets off to an excellent start. Of course, the topics discussed here are important and certainly relevant but they feel naturally included into the premise of the show. Instead of heavy-handed exposition, there’s a lot of show-don’t-tell segments and it really helps give the series a unique voice....

The Journey Through the Desert Netflix’s new series Messiah definitely has quite the intriguing and controversial premise, as we follow proclaimed prophet Al-Masih who quickly manages to garner a strong following. AT the same time, CIA agent Eva Geller takes an interest with him while dealing with the demons of her past. The first episode is a strong one, with some decent exposition and setting the scene nicely with what’s to come in the next few episodes as we see whether Al-Masih is really the Messiah or just a con artist....
Milestone Plot Synopsis Ghalib is a seasoned truck driver and well-respected by his peers. After achieving the momentous milestone of 500,000km, he finds himself suffering from a bad back; the physical manifestation of his hard work. Ghalib’s success comes at the expense of his family life though, which is left fragmented and broken. To make matters worse, his bosses are completely nonchalant to his struggles. They add more stress to his day job, tasking him with showing plucky newcomer Pash the ropes....
The Broken Robot Missing : The Other Side feels like a supernatural blend of Hotel Del Luna and Mystic Pop-Up Bar. However, it has its own original premise that already has me hooked after two episodes. The drama manages to bring enough suspense and heartbreaking scenes already as we follow the story of our main and secondary characters. With a split focus between the living and after-life worlds, Missing is shaping up to be quite the promising series....
The Other Side of the Shore Episode 10 of More Than Blue begins this finale in the past, with K and Cream attending A-Lin’s mini-concert. With a single candle on each table, A-Lin’s words serenade the different couples who remain fixated on her singing. K reaches out, intending to touch Cream’s hand but she moves at the last second without realizing. Cut forward to the hospital and K looks over their wedding photos....

The show has done a great job building up tension and drama for the finale next which promises to bring some tears as we say goodbye to our characters. Heading To Christmasland Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, Nos4a2 is an interesting take on the vampire genre, one that gets off to an okay start with some slick camera work and nice visuals. Unfortunately the slow-paced storytelling and plenty of teen angst does hold this back from being a better pilot episode. Still, the ending certainly leaves the door wide open for future episodes but Nos4a2 just about ticks all the boxes with its debut episode....
