The Financial Crisis If there’s one thing you can always rely on TvN dramas for it’s in-depth and absorbing shows tackling a variety of interesting and complicated topics. Much like school-drama Black Dog, Money Game takes a behind-the-scenes approach to a profession, this time focusing attention on a bank in the midst of a financial crisis. The first episode gets off to a decent start too, introducing all our characters and allowing a good amount of time spent with each across the 70 minute run-time....

The Escape Plan Episode 8 of Money Heist: Korea starts with more of the Professor’s plan being fleshed out. All the group are gathered as they prepare for D-Day. There are celebrations abound, including drinking and smoking, along with some karaoke too. Just like the Spanish version, only with the added bitterness of soju! Nairobi is rejected by the Professor in her drunken state so instead she shares a touching moment with both Helsinki and Oslo....

A Slow Burn That Hits The Right Notes To say Nobody Knows I’m Here is a slow burn would be an understatement. A lot of the film plays on ideas of quiet reflection and resentment, captured beautifully through Jorge Garcia’s haunted expressions and flashes to a traumatic past. Because of this emphasis on thought provoking drama and quietly building tension, a lot of the film plays off long shots and silent scenes that give the film a much longer feel....
