More revelations Episode 39 of Homemade Love Story picks up in the aftermath of Jae-Hee leaving as Chae-Woon heads into his room. Man-Jung comes inside and asks her niece where Jae-Hee is. Chae-Woon explains that he is going to work in a different site but lies when she asks her if she has been crying. The next morning, she also hides the break-up from her mother before going to work. Jung-Hoo wakes up to a tidy home and a note from Jae-Hee, thanking him for his help and promising to work hard....
The Baby Pictures Back for another dose of family drama, Homemade Love Story returns with more fun and intriguing character development this weekend. The story still gives us some predictable plots though (like the amnesia route for Jung-Hoo) but the series remains pleasant and entertaining enough to follow each week. Episode 11 of Homemade Love Story starts where we left off with Jung-Hoo telling the doctor his name is James. Soon-Jung wants to go home but the doctor asks her to stay as the police will want to take her statement....
The Scam Homemade Love Story sees the characters develop more each week with some interesting twists along the way. It’s a full house now at the villa and it is bound to create some entertaining drama in the weeks to come! Episode 12 of Homemade Love Story starts with Seo-A asking her mother who the baby in the picture is. Ms Kim looks surprised but quickly lies and tells her an old friend gave it to her....
A Little Too Late? After the previous slower episode, this latest chapter of Homemade Love Story picks things up with some interesting developments for our characters. There’s still plenty more drama to come for this weekend series but after just a few weeks, the story has already become quite fun and intriguing for our characters, even if it can be a little predictable at times. After an 8 year hiatus, Robyn returns with her latest studio album Honey. Mixing dreamy beats, melodic synth-driven sounds and her distinct confident, soft vocals, Honey is an enjoyable, but largely forgettable album. While the second half picks up the tempo and delivers a host of head-bopping tunes, Honey fails to really excite and deliver anything particularly original that hasn’t been done before. The album opens with the vocal heavy Missing You....
Different Surgeries Hospital Playlist returns this week as we see more complex surgeries performed by our doctors. These bring more substance to the show as they’re all interesting while we carry on following the lives and relationships of our different surgeons. Episode 7 of Hospital Playlist starts where the last one left off with Jeong-Won finding out that the liver is not good for baby Ji-A. However, he decides to go for it anyway and to cut the liver twice to make sure it fits as the little girl has only one week to live....
Pressure Cooker Hot Stove League returns for its best episode to date; an incredibly tense hour of drama that sees Seung-Soo forced to renegotiate contracts with every player. This inevitably brings with it a whole host of different emotions and throughout the episode, this Korean drama does a wonderful job capturing all of this in its most raw and emotional form. Seung-Soo begins by being forced into delivering the bad news to the management team regarding his conversation with the Directors....
Voluntary Resignation? The ratings for Hot Stove League continue to rise every week and it’s easy to see why. This baseball drama has done a wonderful job spinning character drama into an interesting pressure cooker of seeing behind the scenes of a struggling baseball team. There’s some really good acting here too and with more negotiations this week, all of this builds up to a pretty intense finale that leaves things wide open for the next episode....
Sanchez’s Torment Hotel Del Luna is fast becoming one of my favourite shows of the year. Between the brilliant acting from IU, the chemistry between the characters and the effortless tonal shifts woven through the episodes, this highly enjoyable Korean drama is going to be a tough one to beat this year. Despite all this, episode 11 feels very much like a filler episode and with the exception of the cliffhanger ending and a few poignant moments, there’s not much here that really drives the series forward in a meaningful way....

It’s Much Bigger Than us Episode 7 of Invisible City begins with a closer look at what happened during the ominous intro in episode 1. Curupira lost control after his family were killed, spouting flames from his head. This explains why he went after the hunter to begin with. We then cut back to the present as Ibere cradles the lifeless form of Isac and struggles to control his rage. Hot tears sting his cheeks as Ines lends her voice, telling Ibere to return to his true self....
On the way, Wonjeong collapses and the two boys are forced to bring Wonjeong back to the palace.
