Meanwhile, things are a mess with our rabble of characters in the Stone family. Grace’s murder has rocked everyone, and all fingers seem to point to Angelina....

What strikes you first about Child is that it sounds nothing like what a casual fan of NCT might expect from Mark’s debut. NCT’s music is known as (mostly) loud and powerful, and leaves more room for impressive production and detailed hooks to shine, than for its introspective facet. Instead, Child is a raw and vulnerable performance where the instrumentals underpin the lyrics, not vice versa. Thus, if you expect Mark’s solo station to be a mere extension of NCT’s discography, you are severely mistaken....

When it comes to Memories Of The Alhambra’s finale, this Korean drama falls somewhere in the middle. Despite trying to wrap up the wealth of stories and subplots left unresolved over its 15 hour run-time, Memories Of The Alhambra leaves things open-ended, with a lacklustre finale and the tease of perhaps a second season to come....

And The Truth Shall Set You Free The season 1 finale of Messiah starts in 2011 at the Nablus West Bank where we see Aviram storming into a shop and arresting a young boy who was transporting explosives. He threatens to torture him to make him talk and as he agrees to cooperate, Aviram and his partner take him way. We then cut back to the present with Aviram taking Al-Masih in his car and telling him that America will soon forget him, before we jump to Palestine with the aftermath of the explosion....

The Russian Frontier Metro: Exodus feels like a 2005 shooter with 2019 graphics. The game itself certainly has some sparkle to it and there’s enough atmosphere and memorable story beats to make it worth checking out if you enjoyed the previous two Metro games. Unfortunately, the open world setting feels at odds against the uneasy, claustrophobic dread of the previous 2 titles, with little disguising the clunky controls and poorly optimised UI....

Tense, thrilling and at times artistically crafted, ‘Mine’ grips from the opening minute and refuses to relinquish its hold through its runtime. There are portions of the film that rely a little too heavily on hallucinations and some of the military dialogue is inaccurate but I found this forgivable in this decent thriller about a man stuck standing on a live landmine for 52 hours. It could so easily have been contrived as being a rip off of 127 hours but there’s enough differences to make it stand out....

The Doorman Episode 1 of Modern Love begins with Maggie and Mark walking down the street together . As they walk, they come across a doorman, Guzmin, at the apartment building Maggie is staying at. Disapproving, Guzmin calls Mark a taxi after he makes a move on her. Guzmin tells her Mark will never ring her before she heads upstairs and messages him that night. As it turns out, Guzmin is right and he doesn’t ring....

America’s most notorious serial killer, John Wayne Gacy is being prepared for execution by Illinois prison officials, according to news reports on television. Glenda watches the news as the serial killer is given the death penalty. One of her co-workers declares that the serial killer is the worst of the worst, but Glenda corrects her and claims that her neighbor Jeff is. Jeff plays pranks on the other inmates in prison for his own amusement, but the others become enraged and irritated....

The Damaged Room Episode 3 of Monsters at Work begins with an emergency. There’s a damaged room alert, thanks to a monster stuck with a cold. Acid burns up the walls and Monsters Inc is called into emergency mode. This room happens to house one of their best gigglers. This leads to the MIFTers forced to head in and fix the bedroom, with Tyler joining the gang for their first on-location gig....

2nd September Devil In Ohio (Limited Series) Emily Deschanel (Bones) takes the lead role in this thriller series as a hospital psychiatrist who takes it upon herself to shelter a young girl who has escaped from a cult. This kind act has unfortunate consequences, however, as the girl starts to cause major problems for the psychiatrist and her family. Fakes: Season 1 Most teenage girls take on paper rounds or babysitting jobs to raise a bit of extra cash....

My Dragon Episode 2 of Mr Queen begins with Bong-Hwan doing his best to fight off the King’s advances, eventually continuing to drink with him and hoping it doesn’t come down to consummating the marriage. When Cheoljong takes himself off to bed alone, Bong-Hwan scoffs and believes that the tabloids are wrong about him being sex-mad. However, just in case he’s wrong, Bong-Hwan ties a granny knot around his gown. Eventually Bong-Hwan manages to fall asleep and starts snoring loudly....

The Good Deeds Mystic Pop-up Bar’s latest episode sends a nice and simple message about the importance of good deeds and their consequences for others. With more mysteries and new developments for our characters to tackle, the drama remains entertaining and intriguing which should keep you coming back for more next week. Episode 4 of Mystic Pop-up Bar starts with a customer being aggressive with Kang-Bae. He is stopped by Yeo-Rin, prompting them both to become very surprised as they recognize each other....

Project Agni Episode 3 of Navarasa begins with a gun being loaded and a camera rolling. Vish sits in front of the camera and admits that his memory is a mess. He’s unsure whether he’ll be able to go back to how he was, as fragments of the past start to bleed through. Vish phones Krishna and requests his attendance at his house. He’s found something major and wants his help....

It’s All Over Does Na-Bi tell Jae-Eon to leave? Episode 10 of Nevertheless begins this finale with Jae-Eon and Na-Bi still reeling from the previous night. With the rain lashing down, Na-Bi telling the boy she never wants to see him again has a big effect on them both. Na-Bi is certainly regretting her actions, unable to shake Jae-Eon’s kind eyes rather than his multiple other red flags. At school, Na-Bi tells Jin-Soo she doesn’t need his help anymore and decides to continue on with her project alone....

Motherlode Episode 6 of Nine Perfect Strangers begins with Francis continuing to be haunted by ghosts from the past. Specifically that of Paul, as he appears as a teeny tiny man running across the apartment. Through his biting rants, Paul reveals that she actually gave him $128,000. Speaking of the past, Lars too suffers from ghosts of his past. Remember when he mentioned the Christian upbringing? Well, all the kids gather around him, bullying the kid and chanting that he’s a faggot....

When it ends, he tells Young-eun he missed her. Some time later, Sono’s design team hits a roadblock when Young-eun learns that all the supplies ordered for Sono are being redistributed to Claire Marie. Chi-sook, now on the Claire Marie team and still not over being jilted, backs the redistribution....

Going Through The Motions After last week’s somewhat polarizing pilot episode, Now Apocalypse returns this week with an intent to prove the doubters wrong and offer some substantial plot development. Instead, Now Apocalypse doubles down on its sex scenes and eases up with its story for an episode that really doesn’t offer anything at all beyond a few snippets of character progression. The episode itself begins with Ulysses reeling over the reptile alien encounter he experienced at the end of the previous episode....
