The Episode Review

Who knew a tornado could be so nonchalant? Given the number of tornados in the US every year I can imagine this may seem trivial but none of these characters are particularly bothered by it. Anyway, the rest of the episode plays out in a pretty mild way. Rick is outed for the cheater that he is, allowing Sam and Trisha to actually be on the same page and share some nice moments, even if it is over a bottle of vodka or two. Seeing Joel project his own insecurities onto Roger is a nice way of showing his real goals in life too, and a few tidbits over what happened to him in the past is certainly welcome. Beyond that, there’s not much else to write home about. As the series finale looms, we’ll have to wait and see if see if Sam chooses to stay in town or not.
